Dr Akhshid Javid worked as a Project Researcher for the Centre for International Studies & Diplomacy of SOAS University of London.
During 2006-2013 he served as a diplomat at the Embassies & Permanent Missions of Afghanistan to the United Nations in Geneva and European Union in Brussels.
Prior to joining the Afghan Foreign Service, he worked as a researcher for a Member of the European Parliament with a seat in the House of Lords. He received his PhD in International Relations from the Geneva School of Diplomacy (2011), M.A (2006) and B.Sc. (2001) from Middlesex University.
He has published numerous articles and op-eds.
